Red Lantern used to be our favorite place to go every Sunday, they used to be very kind and for that we didn't care about the waiting time. The food is still good, however today was the second time a lady in the front, told us to wait outside because of the little space in the front, and that we have to wait outside from 30 min to an hour. Today's temperature outside was 107. She wasn't very kind and to be honest we felt like she was upset with us coming in large groups, we were 8. When we were discussing where to go, another group came out after us saying that they change the waiting time from 30 min to 1:30min. We went to another restaurant. I don't think I will go anytime sooner to red Lantern. To they waitress who speaks Spanish, long, black, braided hair, with mask, thank you, you've always been very nice to us, you have always served us with kindness.

The website says pay with cash and the delivery will be free but it still charged the fee. This is false advertisement! $2.00 isn't a big deal, but don't advertise something that you don't make good on

We simply love this place. We order take out at least twice a month and have never had an issue. The choose two is the best deal ever! You get fried rice, two entrees for such an awesome price! So far very pleased with this establishment. We live in the far northeast and while its far from us, our food stays hot until it gets to our house! Wish there was a Red Latern in the North east!

Ordered BBQ pork fried rice and broccoli beef with a few spring rolls the other day. Food is, as usual, outstanding. Price is fine for what I received (2 entrees and egg rolls for $21) but I should have asked for the special. Not their fault really, no big deal. This website however is horrible. Menu will not load at all on Chrome, Firefox, or IE. Links up top lead to different pages than the ones on the bottom, no real or useful "contact" or "about us" information, order online like does nothing. Having just any site is not better than a properly functioning site. Put a single page with your scrolling pictures with basic contact info, hours, and maybe a map while you work to finish this one.Tell your friends about the food here, but give them the number and don't mention the website. Sad that most of this review is about the website.

I love Chineese food, and have eaten at lots of places! But, The Red Lantern has the most tastiest, flovorful Chineese food I have ever had! The atmosphere is authentic and the staff is very friendly. You have to try rhis place if you haven't already! Delicious!

the food here is really good; it's the best Chinese I've had in El Paso. The service is pretty good unless it's really busy (Sunday lunch was pretty busy). I loved the steamed fish fillet with black bean sauce (spicy!), honey walnut prawns and honey BBQ pork (appetizer).

They have the best food in El Paso, and Yahira,Serina and Shannon are excellent waitresses. Very attentive yet they are not annoying like one of the waitresses there.....who just kept coming to the table every minute. That was just plain annoying.

Went to Red Lantern on Wednesday It was very busy and the owner had to take my order. She did so iwith a smile. Have been there a few times. Never had a bad experience. Recommend it to anyone.
